First of all insert your USB Pendrive into your computer or laptop.
Now check and note down that what letter is assigned to your USB pen drive, whether it is G:, H:, I: or something else.
Now open CMD (command prompt) by pressing Win+R keys at the same time > type Run in the dialog box and hit Enter.
Now type below command into your command prompt ( cmd ) to format pendrive using cmd and hit Enter button.
format /q /x D:
Note: replace D: with your pandrive’s assigned drive latter.
Now it will display a message “Insert new disk for D: and press enter when ready“. Just Press Enter button and it will start formatting your pendrive.
Now, You will get a message “Initializing the File Allocation Table (FAT)… Volume label (11 characters, ENTER for none)?” that means the format precess has been completed and it’s waiting for your confirmation. Simply Press Enter and you are done.
